Product Introduction:
The Commassie Blue Staining Kit adopted the most classic Coomassie bright blue staining and decolorization methods, using Coomassie bright Blue G-250 as the dye, which could be used for routine staining and decolorization of protein electrophoresis gels such as SDS-PAGE or non-denaturing PAGE. Or Western detection of residual protein on PAGE glue after transfer.
Usage:
1. After electrophoresis, take the gel and put it into the appropriate amount of Coomasie bright blue dyeing solution (at least 5 times the colloidal volume) to ensure that the dyeing solution can fully cover the gel.
2, put the gel in the shaking table slowly shake, room temperature dyeing for at least 2 hours, low abundance protein dyeing for more than 4 hours.
3, remove the dyeing solution after the end of dyeing, dyeing solution can usually be reused 2-3 times, but the dyeing effect will be slightly affected.
4. Soak the gel in the same volume of decolorization solution as the dyeing solution, decolorization on the shaking table for 4-8 hours, during which the decolorization solution is replaced 3-5 times.
Note:
1, dyeing time more than 4 hours the best effect.
2, decolorization can be terminated at any time according to the target protein abundance and decolorization effect, or extend the decolorization time.
3, the more thorough decolorization, the lower the amount of detected protein, decolorization 24 hours can generally detect 0.1ug protein amount.
4. After decolorization, store the gel in water and take photos or scan to save the image. Or made of dry glue preservation.
