Product introduction
3-indolebutyric acid potassium is a kind of pro-rooting plant growth regulator. It is the potassium salt of indolebutyric acid. It is more stable than indolebutyric acid and completely water soluble, which can promote cutting root, crop growth, increase yield and seed germination. Indole potassium butyrate has similar physiological effects to indole acetic acid, and can act on cell division and cell growth in plants, but it is not as obvious as indole acetic acid. This product through foliar spraying, dipping roots and other ways, from leaves, seeds and other parts into the plant body, and concentrated in the growth point, promote cell division, induced the formation of adventitious roots, manifested as more roots, straight roots, thick roots, root hair, maintain drug effect for a long time, mixed with naphthene acetic acid application effect is better. It is not easy to be oxidized in plants and has poor conduction properties.
The action of potassium indolebutyrate: cucumber, tomato, eggplant, pepper. Tree, flower cuttings rooting, apple, peach, pear, cherry, citrus, grape, kiwi, strawberry, poinsettia, caryophyllum, chrysanthemum, Chinese rose, mulan, tea tree, poplar, rhododendron, etc.
Promoting rooting: Potassium 3-indolebutyrate (IBA) is the best growth regulator to stimulate or accelerate rooting of cutling. It operates less in the plant and is easily retained near the site of use. IBA had a strong rooting effect, but the adventitious roots produced were fine and long, while naphthylene acetic acid (NAA) had less and thick roots. Therefore, better results could be obtained by mixing the two substances. Grape shoots were immersed in 5 to 20 mg/kg IBA solution for 24 hours and then cut to a sand bed, which resulted in a higher rooting rate. The base of green branches of apple or peach trees with 3 to 5 leaves was immersed in 1000 mg/kg IBA solution for 5 seconds. After a little drying, the cuttage was cultured on a sand bed in a plastic shed to take root, so that the rooting rate of the branches was higher. Soaking the sweet potato seedlings in 10 to 20 mg/kg NAA solution for 12 to 24 hours before the colonization of sweet potato seedlings can promote rooting and improve survival rate. For plants difficult to root (pine, cypress, fir, rhododendron, camoya, IVY, Milan, etc.), the use of a mixture of rooting agents during cutting can obtain satisfactory rooting effect. For example, larix gmelinii with indole butyric acid, naphthyl acetic acid, 2, 4-D mixed (10+10+10 mg/kg) preparation, the root rate of its cutting is significantly increased.
Other effects of potassium indolebutyrate are as follows :
1. It can act on the vigorous growth parts of the whole body of the plant, such as root, bud and fruit. It is strongly manifested as cell division and promotes the growth of specific treated parts.
2. It has the characteristics of long-term effect and specificity.
3. It could promote the growth of new roots, induce the formation of root bodies, and promote the formation of adventitious roots.
4. Good stability, safe use, is a good rooting agent.
