Product Introduction:
CFDA, SE is a cell staining reagent that can fluorescently label living cells, which is not only used for in vitro experiments of cell proliferation, but also can be used to track the process of cell division and proliferation in vivo. After it penetrates the cell membrane and enters the cell, it is broken down by intracellular esterases into CFSE, which can be sporadically and irreversibly coupled to intracellular amino binding to cellular proteins. "During cell division and proliferation, CFSE-labeled fluorescence is evenly distributed between the two offspring cells, so that its fluorescence intensity is half that of the parental cells, and it can be analyzed by flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy at 490 nm excitation light." CFDA, SE-labeled cells can be used for in vivo observations for up to several weeks. Therefore, CFDA and SE are often used for live cell detection experiments and long-term cell activity observation experiments with fluorescence electron microscopy. The emission wavelengths for excitation of CFDA and SE-labeled cells were 500nm and 520nm respectively.
