For Escherichia coli, Coliform group, fecal coliform group primary fermentation test and E. coli count

Principle

Pepeptone was used as the basic nutrient to provide nitrogen and carbon source for cell growth. Lactose as a fermentable carbohydrate; Sodium lauryl sulfate can inhibit the growth of non-coliform bacteria. Sodium chloride was used to maintain the osmotic pressure balance of the system. Phosphate was used as a buffer to maintain the pH of the medium system.

preparation method

Weigh 35.6g of this product, add it to 1000ml distilled water, dissolve it by boiling, divide into aliquots, autoclaving at 121℃ for 15 minutes and set to use.
