For the selective isolation and culture of Pasteurella, digestive blood needs to be added.
Preparation method
Weigh 44.6g of this product in 1L distilled water or deionized water, heat and boil for more than 1 minute to completely dissolve, autoclave at 121℃ for 15 minutes, cool to 50-55℃, add 50ml of sterile digested blood (50ml of defibrillated sheep blood plus 150ml of normal saline and 6ml of concentrated hydrochloric acid, mix well, then add 1: 0.5g pepsin and 2ml chloroform of 10,000 titer were digested in a water bath at 50℃ for 20 hours, shook and mixed at any time, and finally adjusted pH to 7.6 with 20% sodium hydroxide), mixed well, poured into plates, solidified, and set aside.
