In Vivo:
Rats (Sprague-Dawley rats, 300–350 g; intraperitoneal injection; 20% L-arginine (1 ml/100 g)):
Before the experiment, the rats were fed adaptively for 1 week. Ten rats were selected randomly as acute pancreatitis group (AP group, n = 10). The rest ten rats were assigned to normal control group (NC group, n = 10). AP rat model was produced by intraperitoneal administration of 20% L-arginine (1 ml/100 g,Solarbio, China). Control group was peritoneal injection with the same amount of normal sodium (1 ml/100 g). One hour later, intraperitoneal injection repeated once. Twenty-four hours later after last administration, blood samples were collected from the tail veins to measure related indexes.
