Betaine, a kind of alkaloid, is an efficient methyl donor, which can replace methionine and choline as methyl donors. It can ensure that methyl groups involved in various biochemical reactions in animals are needed to ensure the normal synthesis and metabolism of nucleic acids and proteins; It can regulate cell osmotic pressure, reduce stress response, and ensure the normal growth of animals.
Examples of using this product(for reference only)
In Vivo:
Mice (Five-week-old C57BL/6 similar weight male mice; 2% w/v betaine in water):
At week 8, the mice were randomly divided into 3 groups (n= 6 in each group), balanced to achieve a similar average body weight. The NFD group was fed with a normal fat diet (11.7% kcal fat). The HFD group was fed a high fat diet (45% kcal fat). The HB (high fat diet adding betaine) group was fed a high fat diet with betaine in drinking water (2% w/v; Beijing Solarbio Science & Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing, China).
