Cell（ 0.5 mM isobutyl-methylxanthine）:

The adipogenic medium was the complete culture medium supplemented with 1 μM dexamethasone (Solarbio), 0.2 mM indomethacin (Solarbio), 0.01 g/L insulin (Solarbio), and 0.5 mM isobutyl-methylxanthine (Solarbio).

Mycelia（2.5 mM IBMX）:

To test the effect of cAMP and IBMX on appressorium formation of the Δpal1 deletion mutant, spore suspension (105 spores/ml) was inoculated on a hydrophobic glass slide and then 1 mM cAMP and 2.5 mM IBMX (Solarbio) were added to observe the appressorium formation ratio at different time points.
