Product Introduction:
The purpose of fixation is to preserve the living state of cells and tissues, which is realized by inhibiting enzyme activity, precipitating proteins and nucleic acids. Fixative is mainly divided into aldehyde fixative, alcohol fixative, oxidizer fixative, mercury fixative, etc. For the consideration of safety and preservation, the commonly used fixatives are aldehyde fixative and alcohol fixative, among which formalin fixative is the most commonly used. Since formalin will oxidize and become acidic during storage, affecting the fixation effect of tissues, neutral formalin fixative containing buffer salts is more popular.
Neutral formalin fixative (10%) is mainly composed of formaldehyde, phosphate, deionized water, this fixative is suitable for the fixation of most of the tissues, long-term storage will not produce formalin pigmentation, it is a good choice for routine tissue fixation.
5L size, advance reservation is required.
