Product Introduction:
The purpose of immobilization is to preserve the original morphological structure of cells and tissues. Immobilizers can prevent endogenous lysosomal enzymes from autolysis of their own tissues and cells, and inhibit the growth of bacteria and molds. Fixed liquids are mainly divided into aldehyde based fixed liquids, mercury based fixed liquids, alcohol based fixed liquids, oxidant based fixed liquids, picrate based fixed liquids, etc. The more commonly used are aldehyde based and alcohol based fixed liquids.
Glutaraldehyde,2.5%(EM Grade) can fix more structures and chemical components, so the fixed components are not easily lost during the sample preparation process and will remain in place, making it suitable for electron microscopy observation and sample fixation. When observed under a light microscope, the coloring of each structure is generally darker and difficult to fade, resulting in lower recognition compared to conventional fixative solutions. Moreover, due to the stable fixation effect, dense tissue after fixation, and higher antigen masking ability than conventional fixation solution, appropriate adjustment of staining steps is required for routine staining.
