Methylcellulose is commonly used as protective colloids, dispersants, thickening agents, stabilizers, emulsifiers, and adhesives. Properties: Solubility: water 20mg/ml clear or slightly cloudy, colorless or light yellow viscous solution

Viscosity: 4000 cP in 2% water (20 ℃)

Methoxy group content: 28 ~ 32% Solubility: this product can be dissolved in cold water, forming a transparent viscous solution. Because contains a certain amount of hydrophobic groups, so this product can be dissolved in some organic solvents, but also soluble in water and organic mixed solvents.

Purpose: Biochemical research. Pulse-field capillary electrophoresis of thousands of nucleotides was performed in dilute methylcellulose solution, and bone marrow cells were cultured in semisolid methylcellulose medium. For the protection of colloids and dispersants, enrichment agents, stability and emulsifiers, adhesives. Save: RT
