Plant cell or tissue extracts contain many endogenous proteases, phosphatases, etc., which easily lead to the degradation or demodification of proteins in the extracts, thus affecting the subsequent protein detection. Therefore, adding appropriate inhibitors such as protease and phosphatase to the extracts is an effective way to prevent protein degradation and demodification. This product is used as a mixture of protease inhibitors derived from plant cell or tissue proteins, containing a broad spectrum of serine, cysteine and acid protease inhibitors, as well as aminopeptidase inhibitors.

Scope of application

"It inhibits the activities of various proteases in plant cell or tissue extracts, such as serine proteases, aminopeptidases, cysteine proteinases, threonine and aspartic proteases, metalloproteinases, etc." It is suitable for Western Blot and co-immunoprecipitation detection of phosphorylated protein, protein kinase activity determination, etc.

Usage method

1. Protease inhibitor mixture (for plant sample extraction, 100X) was added to the lysate at a ratio of 1:100 when used, and can be used after mixing. The lysates containing the mixture of protease phosphatase inhibitors should be prepared on the spot, and should not be prepared and frozen for later use.

2. Because the metalloproteinase inhibitor in the product can form red or purple chelates with divalent metal ions such as ferrous iron, the product may appear light pink; If the lysate or sample contains a higher concentration of divalent metal ions such as ferrous iron, a darker red color may appear, but it does not affect use.
