Coomas bright blue protein glue fast dyeing solution is a protein dyeing solution that can be dyed instantaneously at room temperature, without decolorization, non-toxic and non-irritating odor. Suitable for all kinds of denatured and non-denatured protein gel staining, can save a lot of time, accelerate the experimental process, with its convenient and quick operation, relatively high sensitivity. Sensitivity up to 5ng protein (visible to the naked eye), 3ng protein can be seen with the lens.

Product Features:

Fast dyeing, only dye protein without dye glue, no need for decolorization, especially for the experiment of protein purification, after a few minutes, you can decide the next experiment according to the results of protein stain bands. The whole process is easy to operate, easy to save, no special equipment is required, and the gel can be stored in pure water for several months after decolorization.

Instructions (for reference only) :

1. Place the PAGE into a plastic container after electrophoresis. Add the appropriate amount of dyeing solution to cover the PAGE glue, depending on the size of the container, usually about 30-50mL.

2. Shake on a shaker. Do not touch the dye with bare hands because it is acidic. The bands began to appear after 1-2 minutes. The stain bands deepen over time. Usually the dyeing time can be from 30min to overnight. The background color hardly increases with dyeing time. After dyeing, the protein gel was stored in water and taken out for photography. Due to different isoelectric points of proteins, the instantaneous adhesion ability of dyes is different. It is recommended to put the gel into water after 2h dyeing or overnight for better effect.

Note:

1, the thickness of the glue is more than 1mm, please add more dye and extend the dyeing time.

2. It is suitable for SDS-PAGE glue and Native glue prepared or prefabricated in the laboratory, and can also be used for dyeing the residual protein on the PAGE glue after Western film transfer.

3. Like traditional Coomas bright blue dye, this dye solution binds positively charged groups on proteins, and the number of positively charged amino acids needs to be considered for quantitative comparison between different proteins.

4. Precipitation will occur during the dyeing process, which will not affect the dyeing effect.

5, the dye can be reused 1-2 times. With the increase of the number of uses, the dyeing speed decreased slightly, but the sensitivity was not affected. If there is precipitation 37 degrees water bath dissolve or filter after use.
