This product is a broad-spectrum antibacterial preservative. The main active ingredient of this product is 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one, 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one). CMIT) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazloin-3-one (MIT), which can inhibit microbial growth and promote microbial death. The principle is that after CMIT/MIT contact with the cell membrane, within a few minutes after contact with microorganisms, the active components can permeate the cell wall and inhibit the activity of certain enzymes in the Krebs cycle. Microbial growth, macromolecular synthesis and respiratory chain reaction are effectively inhibited, and eventually due to the collapse of energy system, cell growth inhibition or death cannot carry out normal anabolism. Bacteria and fungi have all or part of the tricarboxylic acid cycle, so this product is suitable for bacteria and fungi. It has a very broad spectrum of antibacterial spectrum. Moreover, this product has multiple dehydrogenase action sites, so it greatly reduces the resistance of microorganisms caused by mutation.
