Determination of Significance：

Xylose is a component of Xylan. Natural d-xylose is found in plants in the form of polysaccharides. Xylose is also found in animal heparin, chondroitin, and glycoproteins. It is the unit that links the sugar chain to serine (or threonine) in some glycoproteins.

Measurement Principle：

The xylose content was determined by differential refraction detector.

Self Provided：

A High-performance liquid chromatography (Agilent Zorbax Carbohydrate chromatographic column (4.6 × 250mm, sugar column) , differential refractive detector (RID) , table centrifuge, adjustable pipette, mortar homogenizer, EP tube, needle filter (organic system, water system, 0.45 μm) , syringe, filter, filter membrane (organic system, water system) , brown injection bottle (1.5 mL) , acetonitrile (chromatographic purity) , ultrapure water.
