N-acetyl-l-cysteine is an antioxidant and mucopolysaccharide agent. It has been reported that it can prevent nerve cell apoptosis, but it can induce smooth muscle cell apoptosis and prevent HIV replication. It may be a substrate of microsomal glutathione transferase.
Soluble in water, good heating effect, reference concentration 100mg/ml.
