Determination of Significance：

Cinnamic acid, also known as β-phenylacrylic acid, 3-phenyl-2-acrylic acid, is an organic acid isolated from cinnamon or benzoin. Phenylacrylic acid from L-Phenylalanine degradation in plants. Widely used in daily chemicals, food additives, pharmaceutical industry, pesticides and other aspects.

Measurement Principle：

Cinnamic acid has an absorption peak at 270 nm and can be determined by High-performance liquid chromatography.

High-performance liquid chromatography (C18 column (4.6 × 250mm) , UV detector (VWD) , table centrifuge, adjustable pipette, pedestal homogenizer, EP tube (2ml) , needle filter (50, organic series, 0.45 μm) , syringe, filter, Filter (organic, water) , brown sampling bottle (50,1.5 mL) , methanol (chromatographic purity) , ultra-pure water, methanol (analytical purity) .
