It can induce the activation of the Vir gene of Pyobacterium, thus promoting the integration of foreign genes.
Acetyleugenone is a phenolic chemical, which can induce the activation of Vir gene in pyobacterium, thus promoting the integration of foreign genes. The mechanism of action is to promote the processing and transfer of T-DNA by inducing the activation and expression of the gene in the Vir region of Agrobacterium, so as to facilitate the entry and integration of T-DNA into the plant genome more easily.
