APES anti-stripping agents, also known as silane coupling agents, are used in mineral-filled thermoplastic and thermosetting resins such as phenolic, polyester, epoxy, PBT, polyamide, carbonate, etc. They can greatly improve and enhance the dry and wet bending strength, compressive strength, shear strength and other physical and mechanical properties and wet electrical properties of plastics, and improve the wettability and dispersion of fillers in polymers. It is an excellent bonding accelerator for polyurethane, epoxy, nitrile, phenolic adhesives and sealing materials, which can improve the dispersion of pigments and increase the adhesion to glass, aluminum, iron metals, and also suitable for polyurethane, epoxy and acrylic latex coatings. In the casting of resin sand, it can enhance the adhesion of resin silica sand, improve the strength and moisture resistance of molding sand. In the production of glass fiber cotton and mineral wool, it can be added to phenolic resin binder to improve moisture resistance and compressive resilience. In the manufacture of grinding wheel, it is helpful to improve the adhesion and water resistance of the phenolic resin adhesive of wear-resistant self-hardening sand.
