Product Description:

SolarBlue is a sensitive, safe and stable fluorescent nucleic acid gel staining agent (in working concentrations). SolarBlue is safe because it does not cross the cell membrane into the cell; Stability lies in the high temperature resistance, can be directly added to the freshly cooked agarose gel, will not affect the dyeing effect. It can replace unsafe nucleic acid dyes such as ethidium bromide (EtBr, EB) and does not require decolorization. It can be excited by 488 nm laser and can be directly observed by our LED blue and white dual light source illuminant transmisometer (P001S). Due to the unique molecular structure of SolarBlue, while ensuring its high safety and sensitivity, it does not affect the migration of DNA bands. Even with a high amount of DNA samples, good band separation results can be obtained.
