Sulfacetamide是一种磺胺类抗生素，通过抑制dihydropteroate synthase(DHPS)阻滞二氢叶酸的合成。Sulfacetamide是细菌para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA)的竞争性抑制剂，PABA是细菌合成叶酸所必需的。可用于研究花斑癣和红斑痤疮。
