Glass substrate petri dishes are mainly used for microscopic experiments requiring high magnification and good light transmittance on the bottom of culture vessels, such as laser confocal microscopy, fluorescence microscopy and phase contrast microscopy. The glass substrate petri dish has a thin bottom surface and good light transmission performance, which meets the requirements of the above experiments. At the same time, the small holes on the bottom of the glass substrate also reduce the amount of reagents such as antibodies used in the experiment.
Solarbio Company provides high quality and cheap glass plates and glass plates for domestic biological researchers. The bottom glass of Solarbio's glass dish uses imported high-quality glass slides, and the product is glued with non-cytotoxic medical glue, which is suitable for cell microscopy experiments requiring high resolution such as laser confocal, and can withstand long-term cell culture.
The 35mm series glass dishes we provide are produced using special molds, and the products are more consistent and convenient than similar imported products. The plastic dish is made of highly transparent USP class VI polystyrene. The surface of the product is specially treated, which is suitable for the culture of adherent cells. Products are produced in a dust-free workshop to ensure cleanliness.
Use method of glass bottom culture dish and glass bottom culture plate (35mm dish, 10mm hole as an example)
Pre-balance: Add 3ml culture solution in glass substrate petri dish and place in incubator for 15 minutes.
Add cells: Remove the culture solution and add 500ul culture solution containing cells into the bottom hole. Leave in the incubator for 2 hours to allow the cells to settle and stick to the wall.
Add culture solution: Carefully add 2-3ml culture solution without cells. This step is used to provide adequate culture fluid for the cells while reducing changes in osmotic pressure due to moisture volatilization.
* According to the requirements of the experiment, steps 2 and 3 can be combined and 2-3 ml of culture medium containing cells can be added directly after pre-balancing.
