It is a commonly used sodium chloride aqueous solution whose osmotic pressure is basically equal to that of animal or human plasma, which can be used in a variety of physiological experiments and is one of the commonly used solvents. 0.9% normal saline is the common concentration of mammals; 0.85% normal saline was commonly used in routine experiments; 0.75% normal saline is the common concentration of birds; 0.65% normal saline is the common concentration of amphibians.
