Bovine Serum Albumin, known in English as Bovine Serum albumin, also known as Bovine albumin, or Cohn Fraction V, or BSA. BSA has a wide range of laboratory applications and is often used as a blocking agent in immune experiments, including ELISA and Western Blot (WB). As carrier proteins, cross-linking them to haptens and other weak antigens can make them more immunogenic in antibody production. In restriction enzyme digestion reactions, BSA is often used as a reaction stabilizer for some enzymes and prevents it from adhering to tube walls and gun heads. BSA is also commonly used in the production process of biopharmaceuticals or as a nutrient in cell and microbial cultures. In addition, it is also used as a standard for protein quantitative detection. Our BSA products are prepared using high quality bovine plasma using Heat Shock method.

This product is Fatty Acid Free BSA, the fatty acid content in it is very low (0.02%), almost negligible, and easily dissolved. Commonly used as a carrier protein for trace elements, fatty acids, hormones and growth factors, added to serum-free culture systems. This product allows the addition of certain fatty acids to BSA to promote cell growth. Suitable for hormonal or cholesterol analysis tests that avoid lipid or fatty acid interference with results. The total fatty acid content in each batch of products is less than 0.02%.
