Material:
Cellulose nitrate membrane is made of 100% pure cellulose nitrate material, ensuring the highest binding capacity.
Application:
Cellulose nitrate membrane is one of the most widely used specific transfer media in the world, easy to use, simple to operate, compatible with a variety of detection methods, compared with PVDF membrane, no methanol immersion process is required, so that those who need to transfer proteins in a hydrophilic environment. Prior to transfer, it is simply moistened in water and then placed in the transfer buffer, no additional pre-wetting steps are required.
Features:
In addition to having a high binding force, cellulose nitrate membrane itself produces a very low background, the unique surface properties of the membrane ensure an excellent signal-to-noise ratio, no strict elution conditions are required during membrane elution, and the molecular recognition activity on the membrane is up to 5 years.
Pore size selection:
The membrane with the corresponding pore size is selected according to different requirements. The 0.22um nitrate cellulose membrane can trap protein molecules with molecular weight less than 20kD through a small pore size. 0.45um membranes are ideal for larger molecular proteins and nucleic acids, and 0.1um membranes are often used for proteins with molecular weights less than 7kD.
