Product Introduction:
The causes and effects of neuronal degeneration are the main concerns of neuroscientists, and a variety of methods have been used to detect neuronal degeneration, including silver-plated staining and FJC staining methods. FJ staining is an emerging fluorescent staining technique for neurons in recent years, which not only avoids the complexity and high cost of conventional silver plating staining, but also can be combined with other fluorescein markers for multiple fluorescent staining. Fluoro-Jade C has higher signal to background ratio and higher resolution than other dyes. This allows to localize not only the degeneration of nerve cell bodies, but also distal dendrites, axons, and terminals. Moreover, the dye is highly color-resistant and compatible with virtually all histological processing and staining protocols.
FJC method can specifically stain degenerated neurons. This staining kit provides a complete set of ready-use reagent kits, which can be directly used for experiments after simple dilution.
