Ribosome is a kind of ribonucleoprotein particle in the cell, which is mainly composed of RNA and protein, and its only function is to synthesize amino acids into protein polypeptide chains according to the instructions of mRNA, so ribosome is a molecular machine of protein synthesis in the cell. Ribosomes have no membrane structure and are mainly composed of proteins (40%) and RNA (60%). Ribosomes are divided into two types according to the sink coefficient, one type (70S) exists in prokaryotes such as bacteria, and the other type (80S) exists in the fine cytoplasm of eukaryotic cells. Some of them float inside cells, and some of them clump together. Ribosome extraction kit can be used to extract ribosomes from a variety of animal cells and solid soft and hard tissue samples. Ribosome extraction kit (low-speed centrifugal method) only needs to reach the centrifugal force within 20000×g to extract the ribosome, and the general conventional desktop centrifuge can meet the requirements of use. The ribosome purity obtained by the low-speed centrifugation method will be lower than that obtained by the high-speed centrifugation method.
