For enrichment culture of Vibrio parahaemolyticus.
Peptone provides carbon source, nitrogen source, vitamins, growth factors; High concentration of sodium chloride and high pH value could inhibit the growth of non-vibrio bacteria, but did not affect the growth of Vibrio parahaemolyticus.
