Product Introduction:

Fast Green FCF is an acid dye, which can dye cellulose cells containing plasma. It is widely used in the dye of cells and plant tissues, and it is one of the most commonly used dyes in plant histology. The reagent is also used for plant specimen dyeing, etc. It is often used in combination with safranin O to display cartilage. Its principle is based on the binding of anionic groups in cationic dye mucopolysaccharides. Acidophilic bone and acidic dye bind to form a green or blue color, which is in stark contrast to cartilage that appears red, thus distinguishing cartilage tissue from bone tissue.

If applied to cartilage staining, the steps can refer to the instructions of the G1371-Modified Saffron-O and Fast Green Stain Kit(For Bone).
