Product Introduction:
Corynebacterium diphtheriae are mostly rod-shaped, gram-positive bacteria, but often show irregular extension of one end into a rod, the bacteria are often aggregated in clusters at an acute angle to form a V, L, or Y shape, with no motility, pods, or budding cells. After staining the bacterium one end, both ends or the center can be seen obviously dark stained particles, that is, heterochromatic particles.
Staining of heterochromatic particles is often used in Albert's method, which is simple, clear contrast, and is mostly used for staining of Corynebacterium diphtheriae. In the staining result, the heterochromatic particles are shown as dark blue and the organism is shown as light blue.
