Product Introduction:
Hematoxylin is a basic natural dye, which can color the nucleus. The main component of chromatin in the nucleus is DNA. In the DNA double helix structure, the phosphate groups on the two nucleotide chains are outward, making the outer side of the DNA double helix negatively charged and acidic, which is easily stained by binding with positively charged hematoxylin basic dyes by ionic or hydrogen bonds. Hematoxylin is blue in alkaline solution, so the nucleus is stained blue.
Modified Harris hematoxylin staining solution is different from conventional hematoxylin (G1080/G1140), which has a certain acid-resistant differentiation effect. It is often used in combination with alcohol soluble eosin for improved HE staining, and can also be used for cell smears and nuclear staining of gynecological samples, with clear color.
