Product Introduction:
The principle of mucin HID-AB staining lies in the fact that the diammonium salt in the high iron diammonium salt binds to the sulfated acidic mucus material, forming a complex that is colored. When the pH value is much lower than 2.5, the sulfate in the tissue is ionized and carries a negative charge, and forms a salt bond with the cation in the HID, so that the tissue with sulfate (e.g., sulfated mucus material) is stained, and the sulfated acidic mucus material, etc., is formed into a brownish-purple to brownish-black color.
Mucin HID-AB Staining Kit is mainly used to identify sulfated acidic mucus material and salivary acidic mucus material, small intestinal epithelium produces nitrogen acetylated salivary acidic mucus material, and large intestinal epithelium produces oxygen acetylated salivary acidic mucus material and sulfated acidic mucus material. This method can be used in conjunction with AB-PAS staining to identify the type of intestinal epithelial hyperplasia and the type of mucus generated by metastatic tumors.
