Product Introduction:
The cations in Toluidine Blue O have staining effect. The acidic substances of tissue cells are stained by combination with the cations in toluidine blue O. Toluidine blue also contains two co-chromophores, which can cause the ionization of the dye into salts, help the chromophores to produce staining force on the tissue, so that the tissue cells on the section are colored, and the nucleus can be stained to make it blue. Clinically, toluidine blue is often used to stain chondrocytes and mast cells.
Toluidine blue staining solution (cell specific) is suitable for staining of acidic mucopolysaccharides in cells, especially for staining of acidic mucopolysaccharides containing sulfur. After staining, the acid mucopolysaccharides turned red.
