Product Introduction:
Toluidine Blue O is a kind of commonly used synthetic dye, belonging to the class of quinone imine dyes. With metachromasy, there are also three dyeing solution configurations: acidic buffer, neutral buffer and alkaline buffer. Neutral buffer This method has a more balanced reflection of metachromatic coloring and natural coloring. It is commonly used in myelin and nerve staining, allowing simultaneous staining of Nissl bodies and neurons, and can be applied to paraffin sections for general morphological analysis. It can also be used for discriminating staining of islet cells.
Toluidine blue staining solution (0.5%, phosphate method) could ensure both background and heterochromatin contrast staining due to the weak acidity of phosphate buffer.
