Product Introduction:
Peroxidase (POX or MPO) is a class of microorganisms or plants produced by microorganisms or plants that can catalyze a lot of reactions with hydrogen peroxide as the electron acceptor catalyzing the oxidation of the substrate of the enzyme oxidoreductase, which mainly exists in the cellular peroxisomes, with iron porphyrin as a cofactor, which can catalyze the oxidation of phenolic and amine compounds by hydrogen peroxide, and has the dual role of eliminating the toxicity of hydrogen peroxide and phenolics and amines.
Peroxidase Stain (Oxidized WG-KI Method) is a modified POX stain that can be used to stain blood, bone marrow, or cell smears for peroxidase. The POX active site appears as a brownish-red to bluish-black granule that is localized in the cytoplasm.
