TLC
The hydrolysis products were separated on silica gel plate GF254. The solvent system included chloroform, acetic acid, and water (6:7:1. V/V/V). The plate was developed for 2–3 h. After spraying with ethanol: sulfuric acid (95:5, V/V) solvent, the reducing sugars were visualized by heating at 105℃for 5 min.
