Product Introduction:
Masson's trichrome staining, also known as Masson's trichrome staining, is the most classical method in the staining of connective tissue, and is an authoritative and classic technical method for collagen fiber staining. Trichrome staining is usually used to stain the nuclei and selectively show collagen and muscle fibers. The principle of this method is related to the size of anion dye molecules and the penetration of tissues. The size of molecules is reflected by molecular weight, and small molecular weight is easy to penetrate the tissue with dense structure and low permeability. However, large molecular weights can only enter structurally loose and highly permeable tissues.
Modified Gomori trichrome staining solution is different from Masson trichrome staining principle, which is suitable for fresh tissue frozen section staining to identify mitochondrial myopathy. The modified Gomori trichrome staining solution can stain mitochondria and diseased muscle fibers red, collagen fibers and normal muscle fibers green, and nucleus purple.
