Sperm cell BWW medium, also known as capacitation medium, is mainly composed of a series of salt ions, phenol red, glucose, sodium pyruvate, BSA and antibiotics. Each 1000 mL BWW medium contains 1000000 U penicillin sodium salt and 100 mg streptomycin. It is a commonly used nutrient solution for capacitation treatment of broad-spectrum animal and human sperm cells.
